The so-called "last hurrah" of summer!
The summer of 2016 has been hot and steamy; as of Aug. 1 there had been more ninety plus days that 2014 and 2015 combined!
And I had hoped that Chicago would host the 2016 SummerOlympics; I was so looking forward to it as a way to celebrate my fiftieth summer!
I am now two months short of my fifty-first birthday, the age of Michael Jackson upon his untimely and shocking death!
