Negotation Skills?

The above is generally not taught.

"You mean your father and I didn't teach you negotiation skills?"

I was too polite to say, "No, just the opposite. You dragged me to a house of worship which preached a school of self-sacrifice and throwing one's life away for 'God' and others!"

In order to successfully negotiate one must know what one wants and what one believes he or she is worth.

I really feel I was raised with so many contradictions.

But wasn't everybody who was raised "Christian?"

"Give to everyone who asks of you! Give away all your possessions."

And then after church the entire congregation goes home.

But if one is to "give everything away" should one even have a home?

In the midst of another summer and it's now forty years since the big U.S. Bicentennial; I was ten years old then.
