Of course it wasn't a very "good" day for Jesus of Nazareth since he was executed on this date; at least according to tradition.

At present historians have been able to verify his birth, baptism by John the Bapist and execution.

"Were you there when they crucified my lord?"

Hardly; I wasn't born until two thousand years after the fact!

SELFISH?

Heard from a grown man, "My mother didn't put me in foster care because she wasn't able to adequately care for me; she put me in foster care because she was SELFISH!"

Objectivist translation: "She put me into foster care because she didn't value my well-being above than her own personal freedom!"

Read in an opera program, "The man's father had previously thought that Violetta was with his son because she wanted his money but he soon discovers that she loves the son UNSELFISHLY."

Objectivist translation: "The father discovers that Violetta loves his son for his virtues of character rather than his money."

I'm the first to admit I'm not much of a capitalist.

I'm more interested in a philosophy for living on this earth.

It is fairly evident that life on earth is the only life for us human beings.

THE WEATHER OUTSIDE IS FRIGHTFUL....

....and I don't have a fire to find "delightful" so I will use my reasoning powers and wear my boots, mittens, hat and I will ensure that I keep a full tank of gas in the car.

I've been on the Objectivist Answers website lately getting more valuable information and asking more questions.
