PRESIDENT OBAMA KEEPS MENTIONING "AYN RAND"

Objectivists seem to believe this is a laughable situation.

Not if this gets people THINKING!

For example I had always believed without THOUGHT that the a proper function of government was to fund and provide education facilities to age eighteen.

Now...well I'm not sure re this issue. I can see both sides of the coin here. I attended public schools and now as a childfree adult I am legally obligated to assist in the funding.

However I KNEW when I opted out of parenthood that I would not be exempt from this legal requirement. And...when I was a child I'm sure that my education was funded in part by the taxes of several childfree adults.

Besides does anyone really want the crazy young'uns to be running wild out on the streets?

NOT!

But....at any rate I have THOUGHT about this issue.

This is GOOD!

My Two Commandments

We all know "The Lord Thy God's Ten Commandments!" Of course a few of them currently make zero sense but that's rather beside the point. :)

Here are the Two Commandments of Jesus of Nazareth:

1) Thou shalt love the Lord Thy God with all thy heart and soul.

2) Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself.

And....drum roll please...here are the Two Commandments of Louise Mcbride:

1) Thou shalt not be a pain in the neck.

2) Thou shalt not behave in a manner of a horse's rear end.

AND THAT'S THE TRUTH! :)

IN THE SCHEME OF THINGS....

....are people's motives of much importance?

DISCUSS, PLEASE!

IS VARIETY THE SPICE OF LIFE?

I find that I am happier after I consent to a break in my routine or when I decide to do things differently.
