Early September

 Astrological fall begins on September 1.

Years ago, I read a news article to the effect that September first rather than January first is the actual start of the "new year."

What changes December to January??? Essentially nothing! The same school year exists, winter weather, etc.

Whereas from August to September there is the new school year (a little earlier start than prior ages but students are still settling in), recently introduced automobile models, football season (a huge occurrence in the United States!), and what used to be a major significance: the new network television season (lately of reduced significance).

Early September 2026. Labor Day weekend is September 4-7. This is the latest possible on the current calendar. For the third consecutive day there will be a heat advisory. I refuse to utilize air conditioning this late is the year!

In between weeks. Is early September "summer" or "late/end of summer?" It certainly isn't fall! 🤔What about middle September? The weather can still be quite hot! Meteorological fall occurs September 21 or September 22. For me fall begins September 25. By then the leaves may have begun turning colors.....
